*Terms and conditions: Because of the high volume of interest in our courses and our limited space, we can not hold registration without payment. We also strive to create an environment for all children to learn and participate. We ask to enroll your child only if he or she is interested in the subject matter. We understand that some children are not interested in robotics but wanted to try it out. We are happy to open a dialogue with parents about the best steps moving forward regarding their son or daughter during the first 3 weeks of class. Refund requests must be in writing up to 3 weeks after the first day of class for after school programs and at the end of the first day for summer programs. A pro-rated amount will be refunded for services un-rendered and minus pay pal or bank fees. A $30 refund service fee will be charged for after school programs and $50 for summer programs. We offer scholarships to low income families upon request and availability with proof of income, please contact us for more information. Because Star Kids Academy is an educational program that operates on a regular schedule, to ensure children get the most out of our courses without disruption, classes begin on time and our pick up times are up to 10 minutes after the course has ended. If you need special accommodations please let us know in advance. By selecting 'Student may leave to designated pick up or after school program', Star Kids Academy is not responsible for your child after the class has ended. Star Kids Academy films the SUMO competition and FLL practice during the regular school year and summer programs. By agreeing to terms, you give Star Kids Academy permission to use footage from any competition during the program. We understand that accidents happen yet our robots are expensive and our courses require a certain amount of maturity to handle the equipment; therefore, parents are responsible for any damage occurred from disrespectful play like throwing the robots on purpose. All programs are under the direction of Star Kids Academy and is in no way affiliated with either the Palo Alto School District or the Cupertino Unified School District. We believe that all children are important and valued and some children are born with or require special needs. We we at Star Kids Academy believe that these children are some of the most special people on the planet. We are happy to open a dialogue with parents on what type of environment would be best suited for their child. Even though Star Kids takes every precaution to ensure your child's safety, by registering you understand that we are not responsible for injuries during regular outdoor play for summer camp courses. We do not serve food during regular after school courses, yet snack is served during summer. Please fill in any allergies when registering for summer or after school programs. ** We keep classes to 10 students. All parents who register students past 10 students will be put on a waiting list until the list reaches 10. If space is available, we will open another class. To insure fairness when registering, please note we can not hold registration without payment.
*** Please note, when registering, please follow the two step registration process. Step 1 is for our roster and step 2 is for payment. After sending using the registration submit button below, a dialogue box will appear saying "Thank you! Your Registration is Complete...", this means we have your registration. Please continue to 'Step 2 payment' to complete the registration process. You will receive periodic emails throughtout the duration of the class regarding any updates, announcements, or changes.
